As the old saying goes: ‘when in Rome, do as the Romans do’. That’s what Matt Watson apparently wanted to do when he arrived in Northern Sweden to test the new Lamborghini Huracan. The Swedes are used to snow, ice and cold weather and they have the tools to handle them too.
One of them is called a ‘snowmobile.’ You might’ve heard of this revolutionary means of transportation that has been around for over 100 years now. The name is pretty much self-explaining anyway.

We’re kidding, of course. Everybody knows what a snowmobile is but seeing one going up against a car on a ‘track’ covered with ice and snow is not something you get to see every day.

However, this is no ordinary car, and since Lamborghini brags about its car’s all-wheel drive capabilities, Matt decided to put things to the test. For the surface they were on, there are no better means of getting around than a snowmobile.

The Huracan is a worthy successor for the Gallardo. It has tons of performance coming in from the 5.2-liter V10 engine in the back and can handle itself on the road as well as the track.

Thanks to its 610 HP and all-wheel drive transmission it will do 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in 3.2 seconds and run up to a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h). That’s on a proper road, of course. In the snow, it might even be left in the ... snowflakes ... by a snowmobile. Could the Lambo possibly win? Let’s check it out!
