Lamborghini Aventador Hits 100 MPH in London, Close to 2014 Flying Aventador Crash

The speeding took place on London’s Sloane Street and the video below gives us a good idea of just how fast the car in question, a Lamborghini Aventador, was going. In fact, the video uploaded estimates the V12 machine to have flown by at 100 mph (160 km/h).

The driver wanted to make sure everybody acknowledges his presence, so he fitted the Raging Bull with a custom exhaust supplied by Larini. What can we say? In this case, perhaps the extra decibels helped keeping other vehicles, or pedestrians, at bay.

As we said in the intro, this is the same street that saw another Aventador getting airborne after crashing into a Mazda. Ironically enough, both Lambos seem to be dressed in Matte Black.

Nevertheless, their situations are different. Last year’s Aventador crash mainly due to the Mazda driver not giving way when entering Sloane Street, but perhaps lower speed could’ve allowed the man in the Lamborghini to use those carbon ceramics and avoid the impact. As for the guy in the Aventador that pushed things to 100 mph, we don’t think he’s seen las year’s video, but he hope he won’t end up creating a similar one.
