There used to be a time when con men and women used to take pride in being on the wrong side of the law, and did things as we only see them in the movies now. They did their ‘jobs’ right, and whenever they conned somebody, the person being conned had no idea, until the the one doing the con would deem it necessary or relevant.
However, some scammers are not very good at what they do, and especially those who want to make a quick buck by throwing themselves at incoming cars. This is both dangerous, and we say is not worth the risks of injury. Still, proof that people are afraid to get injured, is that these traffic scammers are very afraid to actually throw themselves at the cars, and usually just fall, on their own, in the middle of the street, right in front of the car which was supposed to have ‘hit them’.
