Kind Texas Policeman Gives Ticket and $100 Bill

A motorist in Texas got a nice surprise form a police officer that stopped him, one which in his own words restored his faith in God.
Hayden Carlo says he was struggling to support his wife and two kids at home. The 25-year old was stopped by a policeman in Plano, Texas. He was honest with the unnamed cop and told him the only reason he had not updated his registration because he simply couldn’t afford it.

The policeman was forced to fine him, but also slipped a $100 of his own money into the ticket. The mysterious good Samaritan refused to be named, but a spokesman told CBS the generous gesture was recognized by his coworkers.

"As he told me, this man needed it more than him, and it was the right thing to do," the spokesman said.

"He helped me out when I needed it and I appreciate that. I'll never forget that man," said Hayden Carlo.
