With only about a week separating us from the 2012 Chicago Auto Show, Kia has released a teaser sketch of what’s supposed to be a hothach concept based on the Soul. But the Track’ster as it’s called seems to have a much lower roofline, a new back end and is a three-door.
It’s hard to believe this previews an actual production car, seeing as it’s go such an extreme body kit. More likely, it’s a way for Kia to show its future design language, that will be seen on the new K9 and K3.

No word on the drivetrain yet, but the most likely engine to use in a hothatch is the new Gamma Turbo GDI that’s just made its debut in the Veloster Turbo. And so, we're hoping for at least 200 hp and a manual gearbox.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
