Ken Block Ford Fiesta Ad Coming Tonight

With the release of the new Ford Fiesta on the American market just around the corner, Ford has teamed up, once again, with rally driver (and much more, we know) Ken Block for a very special ad. Set to debut tonight, July 29, on ESPN, the ad will try and tempt the viewers into the world of the new Fiesta and get them in the mood for the ESPN X Games 16.

As usual, this is not an ordinary ad, as neither Block is an ordinary lad. The 60 seconds spot will portray Block doing everything from taking out the trash to... whatever, all while aboard the Fiesta.

“Our strategy with Fiesta is simple – let the consumer experience the car. Everything from our ads to the unique interactions and the events we host is different from any other car launch,” Matt VanDyke, Ford director of US Marketing Communications said. “We’re also using personalities that connect with our target consumer.”

And that's not all. Ford is even offering a Ken Block designed Fiesta through the “Rock It Like Block” competition. To enter, follow this link and do whatever Block is telling you to do.

The ESPN X Games 16 mark the return of the Fiesta to the event, with four drivers to work their magic: Ken Block, Kenny Brack, Tanner Foust and Brian Deegan. The rally event in the X Games will comprise this year Rally Car Racing and SuperRally, a European-style rallycross where four cars will race simultaneously against each other. All of the above drivers will enter both events.
