Volkswagen has been offering those who seek a Passat with more soul the alternative to buy the Comfort Coupe (CC), with the automaker being present at the entry-level of the four-door coupe segment.
However, aftermarket developers have been rather shy in offering modification packages for the vehicle. The Passat CC has received a number of tuning goodies since it was introduced, but the offer isn’t exactly generous. Fortunately, a new modification program for the CC is now available, with the goodies coming from KBR Motorsport.
The tuning company played with the 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, installing items such as a custom stainless steel exhaust system and remapping the ECU. Thus, the unit now allows the person behind the wheel to play with 260 hp.
The tuner wanted to make sure that the vehicles offer a handling that invited the driver to step on the gas pedal even through the corners, so the suspension and the rims were also played with.
The CC uses a shortened coilover suspension, which brings it closer to the road, offering both visual and handling benefits. As for the rims, the stock ones were dropped in favor of a set of R12 Neros that come in a 20-inch size, use a simple design and are wrapped in 225/30 tires.
The final touch was added by a complete foil wrap, which brings a dull olive look to the car. KBR Motorsport also brought a set of side decals to the game, personalizing the vehicle even further.
If you want your CC to receive the aforementioned treatment, all you have to do is prepare EUR11,000.
