Kawasaki Reveals 3D Virtual Reality App

Kawasaki is not planning to come back to MotoGP anytime soon, but they are having quite a glorious time in World Superbike, and this seems to pay for everything. Recently, the house of Akashi made its first move in the digital realm, announcing the Ninja ZX-10R app.

With "Get closer to the New Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R" as a slogan for the app, Kawasaki is offering their fans and road-racing enthusiasts a new type of experience. An emanation of common efforts from the Kawasaki Racing Team and Kawasaki factory in Japan, the Ninja ZX-10R app also bears the seal of approval from Jonathan Rea, the 2015 WSBK World Champion.

The application was developed to complement the launch of the 2016 model year Ninja ZX-10R motorcycle. Users will get as close as possible to what riding a real WSBK Ninja looks like, as the app offers a 360-degree experience at the Portimao track. You guessed it, with Rea behind the bars.

360-degree racing fun, in 2D and 3D, plus virtual reality and more

More than a simple riding experience to be watched on the screen of your handheld devices, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R app can immerse the users in a special, spectacular world. The app can be run in 2D and 3D and can even be displayed on virtual reality headsets to make everything truly glorious.

It comprises a video section, where users can also enjoy footage that showcases the new features and technologies in the Ninja ZX-10R, aided by tech specs and the possibility to stay connected with KRT for the 2016 WSBK season. Options for contacting the nearest dealer for more info and test ride booking are obviously present, plus detailed photo galleries.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R app is free and available for both Android and iOS devices. Follow the links below to download your Ninja ZX-10R app and soothe the winter longing.
