Kawasaki and Bajaj have scheduled the launch of the new Ninja 300 in India for April 10, which at the time of writing is tomorrow.
The Ninja 300 will replace the former small-displacement machine, the Ninja 250. The new bike comes with revised styling borrowing a lot form its bigger sibling, the ZX-10R. At the same time, the Ninja 300 comes with updated instruments and enhanced ergonomics.
Kawasaki has loaded the new Ninja with 4-stroke 296cc parallel-twin power unit which will generate 39 HP and which will be coupled to a 6-speed gearbox, making it easy to reach highway speed and retaining the full sporty character.
The price will be announced tomorrow and is said to be only a bit higher and perfectly justifiable with the upgrades. No word on the Performance package yet.
