Karl Chevrolet Is GM's Best-Selling Dealer in 2009

GM has just announced that Karl Chevrolet of Ankeny, Iowa is the best-selling dealership of GM Certified Used Vehicles in the US. This is the fourth year in a row when Karl Chevrolet wins the award, as it managed to sell 1,418 vehicles in 2009, out-ranking more than 3,433 GM certified dealers throughout the country, according to a GM statement. "I truly believe in the strength of the GM Certified program," said Carl Moyer, owner, Karl Chevrolet. "It’s a tool like none other in the industry. It instills pride within our sales department and confidence within the customer. If you’re a dealer that doesn’t believe in this program, I highly recommend you take a closer look." "Karl Chevrolet continues to prove that dealerships can thrive by offering consumers the best in value and service," said Paul Pejza, manager, GM Certified Used Vehicles. "As the certified used leader in the market, we understand the concerns consumers have when purchasing a used vehicle, so we make the buying experience effortless by providing a 117-point inspection, backed by a 100,000 mile or five-year limited powertrain warranty." Additionally, GM announced the name of the best-selling dealers for Chevrolet and Buick-GMC-Pontiac across the US. Chevrolet:

  • Southeast: Jeff Gordon Chevrolet in Wilmington, NC
  • Northeast: Bergey’s Chevrolet in Colmar, PA
  • Western: John Sullivan Chevrolet in Roseville, CA

Buick-GMC-Pontiac:

  • Southeast: Bob King Buick-Pontiac-GMC in Wilmington, NC
  • South Central: Dave Sinclair Buick-Pontiac-GMC in St. Louis, MO
  • Northeast: #1 Cochran of Monroeville in Monroeville, PA
  • Western: Peoria Pontiac-GMC in Peoria, AZ
