You guys are looking at the fresh face of the Nissan Juke, a facelift for the B-segment cross between an SUV and a supermini which has been attracting praise and criticism in equal measure since its launch. That was way back in 2010, and the segment has moved on in leaps and bounds since then, with notable competition coming from sister company Renault's Captur. But Nissan has put aggression back into the Juke and is sending out for a fight.
Sporty and yet a bit… girly, the Juke is still its weird self. The headlights are still split up between the upper parts, which have used to have indicators at the front and now look like boomerangs and a round clusters in the bumper, both being significantly refreshed with superior illuminating tech. Nissan has added fog lights as well. The grille is brand new, featuring a posh mesh and a wide-U for the Nissan badge itself. The lower grill is also enhanced. Before, three circles defined a funky area that nobody seemed to understand, but now it's just got a nice engine air intake.

The reason why the mirrors are covered up is that the indicators have moved there and are probably LED-based. Another nice feature on the 2014 Juke is that you can opt to have your wheel spokes color-matched to the body, just like on the Opel Adam. It will also be offered with a large retractable panoramic roof.

The same 1.2-liter turbo engine which made the Renault Captur so good is now available on the Juke as an alternative to that horrible old 1.6-liter. With more torque and faster delivery, it's also a far sportier experience and improves fuel economy ratings significantly.

Also on display in Geneva is a refreshed Juke Nismo, wearing its own cosmetic tweaks and a coat of matte paint for maximum visual impact. Many more customization options will be introduced with the 2014 Juke range when it enters production later this year. This will include that very nice shade of yellow, new wheel designs and matching interior trim pieces.
