John Mayer Drives an Audi R8

We don’t know if his name rings a bell thanks to his vocal qualities, being a musician and all, but frankly, there’s definitely more information about John Mayer thanks to his relationships.

Anyway, the pop singer was spotted the other days alone, getting behind the wheel of a white Audi R8, celebritycarsblog.com reported.

Well, at least he has the same taste in cars as he had in women. The R8 is a hot ride, like were the women in Mayer’s life. Let us just brief you up a little with some of the ladies the 32-year-old singer got romantically involved with: Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson, Minka Kelly and Jennifer Aniston.

So, before we let you judge which of the aforementioned ladies stays true to the curves of an Audi R8, we have to remind you that the German carmaker is showcasing the model at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show these days. In fact, Audi also pulled the wraps off the Spyder version of the R8 - the open top.

Well, the only difference between Mayer’s R8 and the Spyder is, as you might have guessed, the chopped off roof.

This means the pop singer can also catch sixty in 4.1 seconds and keep on going until he reaches 313 km/h (195 mph). That thanks to the 5.2l TSI engine hidden under its hood, that develops 525 hp at 8,000 rpm and 530 Nm of torque, that is.

Well, just as we said, not a bad choice for Mayer, as this might just get him some extra romance... or just action...
