John Lithgow Saves Planet by Bus Traveling

Using public transportation is definitely nothing to be ashamed of. Especially when we speak about overcrowded cities where crossing the town by car might eventually turn to be an exhausting and time-wasting experience. But when a well-known VIP surprisingly resorts to traveling by bus, the matter becomes a gossip topic.

TMZ was there when the same thing happened to John Lithgow. The actor chose to travel together with hasty New York citizens... by bus! While the destination is not certain, but judging by the bus' number (10), the actor was heading towards Harlem. The reason why Lithgow was interested in the black neighborhood of the Big Apple is, however, unknown.

Not the same happens to his All My  Sons co-star, Katie Holmes, who seems not very enthusiastic over public transportation as she benefits from being driven in a huge SUV around New York City, according to the same source.

Those who would like to see Katie Holmes and John Lithgow, together with Patrick Wilson acting in the All My Sons play, can go at Schoenfeld Theater, on Broadway. The Arthur Miller's play describes the tragedy of a man who sold defective plane parts to the government during World War II and now has to face the truth when his son wants to propose to his business partner’s daughter.

Coming back to Lithgow's preferences of traveling, we still can't figure why we make such a fuss about it. The man is a new yorker, ergo he can either take the subway or the bus! Besides, why don't we see the other side of the problem? If more and more people no matter their social status would use public transportation more often and resort to taking the car only when absolutely needed, the world we're living in would be a less polluted one!
