When you have a BMW factory in your country and you’re not German, there are plenty of reasons to rejoice. Leaving behind the obvious ‘economic’ reasons like jobs, stability and other ‘boring’ stuff, there will always be a huge BMW fan base around.
That’s when things get interesting. Johannesburg, for example, is well known as a place where Bimmerheads are aplenty, with unique rides and some of the most beautiful and stylish cars you can possibly want.

Therefore, when the local community decided to have a BMW Summerfest (even though it's still spring), cameras started popping like mushrooms after rain and the internet was bombed with impressive stills from the event.

One of the most active photographers out there was Divyesh Dajee, also known as DIVIO. He managed to put together an album featuring the best cars in show and trust us when we tell you, there were some unique rides there.

From older E30 Bimmers to modern day F30 models, the 3 Series range was wonderfully represented, definitely being the most popular car in South Africa, at least at the moment.

Other variants were also well represented, like the 1 Series and its M version, the 1M Coupe, while famous tuners were also on a roll, with Alpina, Hartge and Hamann being extremely popular.
