The Ford GT has been a pretty successful among famous automotive world people, with Jeremy Clarkson (he's had an unfortunate reliability relationship with the car, though) and Jenson Button being good examples for this. Speaking of the latter, the F1 driver is now selling his GT.
The vehicle, which only has 3,500 miles (5,600 km) on its odometer is being offered by British tuner Project Kahn. Button acquired the car, a white example with blue stripes, in 2006.
”It’s exciting to have such a rare and great vehicle in stock – this one is certainly in a league of its own," Afzal Kahn, the man behind the aforementioned company, said.”It’s a really good investment with the current value increasing by ten per cent each year, and since it was owned by Jensen Button, it’s perfect!”
In case you want the 500 hp, 212 mph (341 km/h) machine, you can email Project Kahn or phone the company at 01274 74 99 99. Oh, and remember to prepare GBP 130,000 (approximately $203,000 or EUR149,500 at the current exchange rates).
Why is the F1 startselling his ride? Maybe it's because now he has a McLaren MP4-12C as a company car...
