Jeep Rocks & Road Tour Reaches San Diego

It's been a long, long year for Jeep and its attempt to make its presence felt at some of the most important exhibitions of any kind across the US and, overall, it all seems to have been worth it.

The brand has climbed the ladder back to where it is best visible, at the top of the consumer's preferences. The Jeep Rocks & Road Tour, the half-year long tour across the US, has made its contribution to bringing the Jeep icon back into the spotlight.

The last stop of the tour, the 2011 San Diego International Auto Show, will also be witness to the Jeep frenzy. To open on December 30 and stay like that as 2010 turns into 2011, the auto show will see what the other venues have seen throughout the year: the ultimate off-road driving course, a good, healthy display of off-road vehicles and all the novelties in the Jeep stables.

“We have created the ‘Jeep Rocks & Road Tour’ to provide our current and potential customers with an adventurous experience that is exclusive to the Jeep brand,” said Mike Manley, Jeep Brand CEO.

“We are partnering with various venues across the country to reach out to our loyal Jeep consumers, while branching out to those with new interest in the one-of-a-kind Jeep brand. This tour provides an ideal venue to experience the countless features and legendary capability offered in the all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the iconic Jeep Wrangler.”

The most exciting part of the Jeep show will remain, we're sure, the test drives on obstacle courses. The obstacle courses have been designed in such a way that they mimic the testing procedures Jeep models have to withstand while in production.
