Ever wondered what a car encased in a time capsule for 50 years would look like? We have, and since Jaguar celebrated the 50 year anniversary of its most iconic sportscar recently, the mind naturally wonders towards the E-Type.
The most recent Jay Leno's Garage episode showcased a car very dear to up, the Series I E-Type Coupe. Completely unrestored and original, this which car is exactly 50 years old and only had one careful owner before he bought it.

When it was new, this 2+2 coupe delivered unmatched performance on the road. The Series I model can be recognized by the glassed-over headlight which were in production until 1967, smaller air intake, the large signal lights mounted under the front bumper right next to the headlights and the exhaust tips mounted close together under the number plate.

Most people agree this is the best looking Jaguar ever made, and Jay's car is exactly as it should be.
