It appears like a photo of the 2014 Kawasaki Z1000 leaked and the Dutch fellows at Oliepeil got their hand on it.
This looks like it could be studio photo but the quality is terrible, so we're still at doubt, somehow. In case the pictured bike is rear, then we're definitely going to enjoy seeing this bike on the road.
The styling is one of the most aggressive we ever saw from Kawasaki and we're thrilled to see that naked roadsters are heading this way. The 2014 KTM 1290 Super Duke R is definitely leading in the sharpness ranking, but the new Z1000 "Sugomi" looks like a good pretender, too.
Of course, it's the tech specs which remain to be made available. So far the KTM Beast is close to insanity, and beating it will be a tough endeavor for the rest of the streetfighters.
From what we can see now, it appears like it's mostly a bodywork redesign, with a significant update in the front. A&R are almost betting the engine is unchanged from the previous versions.
Anyway, it's less than a fortnight until the Sugomi will be officially unveiled in Italy, at the 2013 EICMA in Milan. More on this matter soon.
