Intoxicating Performance: BMW M235i

Testing the new BMW M235i is shaping up to be quite an eye-opening experience for a lot of people. Whereas just a couple of weeks ago everyone was criticizing the Germans for making heavy, numb cars with just ludicrous amounts of power, opinions are apparently changing by 180 degrees now, with the new Coupe.
The latest crew to feel the might of the new M Performance Automobile was Car Throttle. They too went to Spain to test the new car and over half of the video they posted on Youtube is made up of moans and weird, illogical expressions, seemingly caused by a severe separation of the usual connection between the brain and the mouth that takes place only when driving this car.

Fitted with a manual 6-speed gearbox, things can’t get any better within this price range. The control and grip the M235i has on the road (once the tires are properly heated) is just unbelievable and the sound the engine is making takes the cake.

With a 3-liter turbocharged 326 HP engine under the bonnet, featuring the trademark 6-cylinder inline configuration sound absolutely brilliant, just as it should. Since this isn’t even a proper M car, imagine how the M3 and M4 will be once we finally get to drive them...

Until then, enjoy 5 minutes of M235i brilliance, watching the video below.
