Have you ever dreamed of fighting crime, trying to stop Penguin from taking over Gotham, all the time deciding what to do about Catwoman and her devious agenda? If you have, then you are in luck, as an actual Batmobile used in the 1992 movie "Batman Returns" is up for grabs on eBay.

We simply don’t have the right words to describe this beauty. The tank-like monstrosity that Christian Bale uses in the latest movies might be more menacing, but this is a proper Batmobile, with comic book lines and wings on the back. It is one of the three original vehicles from Tim Burton's Batman Returns and even comes with full documentation for the avid collector.

Chasing down criminals requires a powerful engine, so the car is equipped with a Chevrolet 350 cubic-inch V8 with Hedman headers and an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold. Villains must have been a lot slower in the 90s than they are now, because the V8 only produces upwards of 200 horsepower.

This particular crime fighting machine comes with hydraulics for easy loading and unloading, which you'll be using, because the auction also throws in a custom trailer for transportation. Bidding has reached $370,100 (€275,000), but the reserve price ($499,000 or €370,000) has not been met yet.

The seller states that if the reserve is not reached before the eBay Motors auction comes to an end, the car will be auctioned on live television instead, which means it could turn up in Scottsdale, Arizona for this weekend's Barrett-Jackson auction. We think this is easily the best looking Batmobile of all the fantasy Batman movies, so you definitely should get it if you’re a fan.
