Batmobile MK1 for Sale on Ebay

As far as superheroes go, not many have a car, mainly because they can usually fly, use teleportation or hang on buildings using spiderwebs. One of them, though, is a real car enthusiast, as over the years he had several models, each one as unique as they get.

Batman is apparently auctioning his first car. The MK1 Batmobile is actually a replica, not the original car used for filming the 1960s TV series. Though it was not on camera, this car has officially represented the Caped Crusader at various events for over 20 years, and has even been driven on numerous occasions by the original Batman himself, Adam West.

The original Batmobile was made from a Lincoln Futura, but this one is not. Underneath all the glamour there is a 1973 Continental Town Car powered by a 7.5-liter V8 which only produces 219 hp.

Over the years there were many attempts to build such replicas, but most of them went wrong. The great thing about this car is that everything is in order, all the decals are correct, all the flashing lights work and it even has a jet booster at the back. The car can not throw flames any more due to some unfortunate accidents, but the device is only unwired. A little attention and a few bucks can get it going again.

The Batmobile located in England is road legal, has valid tax and MOT and is ready to go. If interested, don’t hesitate to check out the auction placed on eBay.
