Infiniti Roadside Assistance iPhone app Released

Infiniti's US arm today announced that it is introducing a free Roadside Assistance iPhone app, allowing owners an enhanced roadside support informational infrastructure.

In an effort to offer a complete customer experience, Infiniti joined forces with Cross Country Automotive Services (Cross Country) for this development, which connects owners to a roadside assistance agent who immediately dispatches assistance to the location of the vehicle.

"As part of our brand promise to ensure every aspect of driving an Infiniti is rewarding, we have designed this new app to enhance the Total Ownership Experience," said Ben Poore, vice president, Infiniti Business Unit. "That is Infiniti's commitment to inspire at every turn and every day you own an Infiniti."

Infiniti owners are offered an estimated time of arrival for the service, contact information for the provider, as well as a reference number for the event. In addition to that, they also receive a priority emergency button for urgent cases. The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

"Infiniti's commitment to provide a premium experience to its customers requires unparalleled service in all aspects of vehicle ownership," said Dave Ferrick, Cross Country senior vice president and general manager of Insurance Services and Automotive Markets. "The Infiniti roadside app helps deliver on that promise, using the latest in technology to provide Infiniti owners with more information at a moment when they are often under stress."
