Indy Motor Speedway Brick Personalization Available

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) has just unveiled a personalized, commemorative brick program that will allow race fans (MotoGP) to inscribe their names and favorite memories from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on commemorative bricks that will be placed inside the grounds of the famous Brickyard.

The IMS Commemorative Brick Program offers fans four locations throughout the grounds that hosts MotoGP races to have a personalized brick installed, including the Gate 1 main entrance, Gate 9 across from the Coca-Cola lot, the Hall of Fame Museum area or the Pagoda Plaza.

"We are excited about this opportunity to add a very personal touch to some of the most significant areas of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, especially as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the first running of the Indianapolis 500," said Jeff Belskus, Indianapolis Motor Speedway president and chief executive officer.

"There are many thousands of fans who have made the events at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway a part of meaningful, annual traditions and this program offers them an opportunity to celebrate those traditions and experiences through a permanent reminder on the ground," added Belskus.

Brick program pricing begins at $145 for a 4-inch-by-8-inch brick with three lines of text, and a replica brick can be purchased for an additional $50. Larger bricks, measuring 8 inches by 8 inches, can include six lines of text or four lines of text and an IMS logo and are available starting at $245.

To kick off the program, the Macy's Santa ended his 26-city tour at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and presented the first IMS Brick Program brick to the Indiana Make-a-Wish Foundation. The brick will be auctioned by the organization to benefit the Make-a-Wish kids later this fall.
