Hybrid Sports Bicycle Prototype Is a Motorcycle, Too

Thomas Bubilek has named his prototype HSB, standing for Hybrid Sports Bicycle, but there is so much more to this wonderful vehicle than meets the eye at a glance.
The HSB was introduced at the recent 2012 LA Auto Show and is in fact a triple hybrid project, combining a traditional bicycle with an electric engine and an 105cc combustion one, too. So you see, the HSB can use no less than three different sources of energy: human from pedaling, electric from the batteries and classic automotive petrol power. And for a mere 67 kg (148 lbs), things look really nice.

With the combustion engine placed under the frame for better mass centralization, Thomas Bubilek placed the electric engine in the rear wheel and the battery in the front one. The design looks awesome and is surpassed only by the price Thomas hopes the HSB could sell for: between $6,000 and $7,000, which is absolutely neat, considering you actually get three vehicles for the price of one.
