Last month saw the motorsport world being swept off its feet by a scene coming from drifting, a discipline many refused to call a sport until recently. We’re referring to the drift battle between a Lamborghini Murcielago and a Lexus LFA.
As we’ve seen during the Japanese event that hosted the fight between the two drift-modded supercars, things in the sideways universe don’t get more exquisite than that. Or do they?
It seems Lamborghini has a thing or two to say about the claim above, especially since its Winter Accademia (Italians don’t spell “academy” all that differently from us, do they?) includes such drift battles.
Since the people behind the wheel of Huracans and Aventadors used for the automaker’s low grip training program are customers, don’t expect the inches-apart dogfights we see in the competition world.
Still, as you’ll be able to see in the video below, which is a piece of unofficial footage, two Huracans sliding relatively close to each other make for a memorable experience.

As long as you’re prepared to pay the entry fee, the company will provide naturally aspirated tuition, whether you’re a Lamborghini owner or not. All in the name of driving science, of course.
