The Audi S5 Cabrio has just received a modification package from German tuning company HS Motorsport.

The vehicle’s 3.0 liter supercharged six-cylinder engine has seen its output being increased from the factory stock 333 hp and 440 Nm to 375 hp and 525 Nm. The tuner has not mentioned the modifications offered for the engine, but we expect this to be a result of an ECU remap. The company has also played with the factory speed limiter, bringing the topless vehicle to a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h).

The tuning pack also includes 89 mm exhaust silencers supplied by Cargraphic and a Bilstein high-performance suspension that improves the vehicle’s handling.

The creation rides on 21 inch rims that are wrapped in high-performance tires, which come in a size of 255/30 R21 for the front axle and 295/25 R21 for the rear one.

Customers can also choose the optional beefy braking system. Supplied by Brembo, this brings double 380x32mm rotors and six-piston calipers for the front axle.

The customers fairly expect over and over again something extraordinary from the HS Motorsport company from Eching, located near Munich, the more so the perfection for a valuable client is the highest precept for Bavaria’s tuner. This time Audi S5 must be exposed to intensive care of the team from Eching. Strictly speaking, the external look of the cabriolet from Ingolstadt doesn’t need any upgrades. Therefore, the crew begins with the engine output increase which is not visible at first glance,” stated the press release.
