Replacing sparkplugs on a Toyota Yaris is a job you can perform at home using some basic tools.
For the job you’ll need a 10mm socket ratchet with extender, copper grease and 16mm sparkplug wrench. Of course, you need four new sparkplugs compatible with your vehicle model. Here are the steps:
Leave the engine cool off
Open up the hood and remove the air filter box - there are two clips on each side
Remove the 4 screws holding the spark plugs coils
Insert the sparkplug wrench in the whole and remove the sparkplugs one by one
Insert the new sparkplugs (put some copper grease on their threads) and carefully screw them in
