Car infotainment systems slowly replaced the old fashioned button radio/CD players on most vehicles these days, including the Toyota Prius to which this following tutorial relates.
So, if you got a 2011 Toyota Prius model and you are bored with its standard radio, you can install a modern touch screen one following the steps in the video tutorial bellow.

You will need a Pioneer AVH model audio system (or probably something similar), Prius adapter frame and trimming, some screwdrivers, time and patience because you will open up about half of the dashboard.

First, you have to fit the audio system to the frame adaptor and apply the surrounding trimming. Next, you will have to connect all the corresponding cables and wires to their designated sockets and connect them with those in the dashboard. Oh, forgot to mention, you have to open up all the central console panels. They should pry open pretty quick but don’t forget to remove the gear selector by unscrewing it.

After connecting everything and tested the system, all you have to do is to secure it on the dashboard using the designated screws and then put back the central console panels.
