Ok, not every car comes with a killer sound system from stock, so most people come to aftermarket manufacturers to install more decibel pumping equipment in their cars.
Here, we’ll learn how to change the stock speakers on a Scion tC with more powerful ones, as presented in the following video by Car Audio 101.

So, you will need definitely need an aftermarket speaker set which should come with adapters bits and pieces, as well as some basic tools like screwdrivers and wire cutters.

Following the safety first rule, you will have to disconnect the car’s battery, as you will work with wires and such. Next, take out the rear seats by pulling them upward and do the same with the paneling around the rear speaker. Don’t try to pry out only the speaker’s mesh as you will damage it, instead pull the entire plastic side panel, it will snap off pretty easy.

Good. Now having access to the speaker, unscrew it from its place and use the provided adaptors if needed to install the aftermarket speakers. Put everything back and there you have it.
