To make the 2014 Toyota Corolla more appealing, the automaker has fitted a multiple connectivity sound system even on the standard L grade model.
One of the features provided by the Tech Audio system is the USB connectivity, which allows you to connect an iPod or any other USB compatible phone or device. Here are some tips on how to use this feature using your iPod:
  • Make sure that your iPod is playing some music and that it is connected to the sound system’s USB port.
  • Press the MEDIA button on the head unit to select the iPod media type. When found, the stereo will automatically play what’s on your iPod and the title/artist gets displayed.
  • Press the button under the BROWSE label to browse to your iPod’s playlists or sort the files according to artists, genre, albums and more. Use the TUNE/SCROLL knob on the right to browse and press it to select.
  • Press the SEEK buttons to skip tracks while playing. You can also use the buttons from under the labels displayed to play, pause, reverse or fast forward.
