How Not to Land a Bike

Aggressive riding on rough terrain involves jumping over obstacles. However, what goes up must come down, or at least that's the way things work on this planet. While getting airborn is fairly easy, especially as one is riding up a large bump acting as ramp, making it safely to the ground is more difficult than some may think.
Mid-air bike balance is the key element keeping things together. Lose this balance and you're in for a hard landing and a crash. And the rider in the video has just learned this lesson. Lucky for him, despite the fact that he crashed rather hard, both him and the bike made it without harm.

Not sure if he kept on jumping that day, though. Most likely he went home and watched the video again and again, to figure out why landing on a flat surface front wheel first is bad. And maybe he remembers to wear a helmet next time.
