Well, drifting was never dependable on high speed, with the angle, clipping points and the amount of smoke you throw in the air counting a lot more than how fast you do it.
However, some daredevils out there think that making this as fast as your your guardian angel can hold on to your shoulder is even cooler. There is also a world record for this and it belongs now to Jakub Prygonski, who pulled the fastest drift in the history by entering the bend at 159 mph (256 km/h) and exiting at 135 mph (217 km/h) in a 1000 hp Toyota GT 86.
But it looks like there is a new challenger rising, as Frederic Aasbo is using his Speedhunters GT 86 in the same way and his newest record topped 136 mph (220 km/h).
