Here's an extremely nice video from Chappell Customs: the sped-up creation of the fuel tank for one of their most striking builds, the Stout 33 Boardtracker.
The Stout 33 is based on an 1982 Yamaha XS650 but there is hardly something recognizable from the old bike. After being extensively worked on by the Chappell guys, the new machine looks better than most other bikes out there, and the unique tank is only one of the stunning parst of this amazing build.

Since we're talking heavy customization, the tank of the Stout 33 has been made from scratch, using plasma cutters and sheet metal, manual bending and TIG welds. Bronze rods were used to weld things in place and manual sanding finished the uncanny, yet wonderful shape of this tank. Enjoy the gallery after the jump.
