The DeLorean is one of those cult cars that you hear all sort of false rumors about, so a review would be great to clear away the fog. But this isn't a normal review, it's a Regular Car Reviews video and it's got more meat in it than the men's locker room.
Regardless of the questionable humor that not everybody will get, it's interesting to see what the car is actually like to drive. For instance, with a V6 engine giving it 130 hp (US spec) and a slow automatic gearbox, this isn't exactly a sportscar. Yes, the DMC-12 is actually a V6 car, not a V8. The V8 sound in Back to the Future was actually added in editing.

The car was named the DMC-12 because of its original price of $12,000. IN actuality, it cost about $25,000 in the early 80s, which is like Corvette Stingray money today. So yeah, it's like the idol you're never supposed to meet in person.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
