Ford has recently facelifted the F-150 for the 2024 model year. As part of this mid-cycle refresh, the Raptor R has been confirmed to sport a few more ponies than before. However, the Ford Motor Company isn't going to crank out the 5.2-liter Predator supercharged V8 to the 775 horsepower extracted by Hennessey from the 5.0-liter Coyote.
Punchier than Ram’s 702-horsepower TRX, the Venom 775 is a high-performance truck you won’t see very often. Every build comes with a serialized badge for the center armrest, reading XXX of 250.

The Venom 775 in the video below is the seventh built, and it’s a properly nice specification. From the exterior paint color to the black-painted wheels, red brake calipers, and backlit Ford emblems fore and aft, there’s no denying this pickup will turn heads in the urban jungle and outside the city.

Based on an F-150 SuperCrew with the 400-horsepower Coyote, this fellow originally sported 410 pound-feet (556 Nm) of twist. Outgunned by the 3.5-liter EcoBoost, said engine now makes a ridiculous 685 pound-feet (929 Nm), thus besting the 5.2-liter Predator and 6.2-liter Hellcat as well.

How did the Texas-based tuner do it? Of course, a 3.0-liter supercharger from the folks at Whipple opens the list of improvements. High-flow air induction also needs to be highlighted, along with an upgraded fuel system, a cat-back exhaust system from Borla, and proprietary engine management.

Every build further includes an air-to-water intercooler, upgraded injectors, and the Hennessey script embroidered in red on the headrests. Covered by a three-year warranty, the Venom 775 is a street-oriented truck at heart. Go-anywhere capability is optionally available as part of the Venom 775 Off-Road Kit, which commands attention due to the 6-inch lift and the rugged-terrain tires from Toyo.

Pictured on 35s, the Venom 775 Off-Road Kit stands out from the crowd with the help of a beefy front bumper with LED lighting. The Off-Road Kit also includes the aforementioned illuminated badges and Hennessey-embroidered headrests. The finishing touch comes in the form of AMP power running boards for easier access. Not only an absolute powerhouse, this badass overlander costs $100K at the very least.

Official pricing hasn’t been made public, although we do know the Venom 775 used to retail at $53,500 in 2020, plus the price of the donor vehicle. Back then, the Venom 775 was limited to 100 copies. With Ford intent on EVs, it wouldn’t come as a surprise to see Hennessey taking up the challenge to modify the F-150 Lightning in the nearest of futures.

We do know that Ford is testing Tremor-spec prototypes out there, but thus far, the all-electric F-150 Lightning hasn’t received a properly off-road-ready trim level. Given time, however, it’s easy to imagine the F-150 Lightning in Raptor 37 flavor.
