Back when i was a kid, the coolest thing you could have was a metal pedal car. I had one and every other boy on the block was hating me when I was rolling around in that. Now however, you can spoil you kid with this miniature “supercar”, the Henes Broon F-series.
In fact, the company markets the tiny EV as “your child’s first supercar” and after seeing what it offers, we tend to agree. This battery carts is built almost like a normal sportscar, the only difference being its size.
I mean, your ordinary plastic Walmart equivalent only comes with a 12V motor, a single or dual speed mode, ON and OFF acceleration and brake, no suspension and a direct link steering wheel. On the other side, the Broon F8 comes with a features and optionals list that will take more than two paragraphs to write here.
To get the bigger picture, the car’s body is built almost exactly like the one of a real car, which means it has a separate chassis and all the doors and hoods can be opened. Add dual 12V/24V DC motor with a 5-level speed control mode, three driving modes, rear- or all-wheel drive configuration, independent suspension, an electronic multi-link steering system and even a 7-inch tablet PC to act as an infotainment and instrument cluster. Damn!
Oh, forgot to mention you can also control it with a remote in case your kid wants to evade or is to young to drive alone. All these means the toy supercar comes at a cost between $800-$1,000 (€675 - €844).
