The 4 Series Convertible was just launched but since the technical underpinnings of the car are basically exactly the same as on the Coupe, the guys from Hartge didn’t need too long to come up with tuning kits for the new model.
Therefore, they decked a BMW with their own parts and introduced it as the Hartge 4 Series Convertible. What you’re looking at here, is a car wearing the traditional tuner’s wheels and a couple of slight touches here and there alongside the M Sport package.
The first ECU kits launched were focused on the petrol engines, namely the ones found on the 428i and 435i but one diesel as well, the 420d. The former can be taken up to 286 HP and 410 Nm (302 lb-ft) from its stock 245 HP and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque while the range topping model’s 3-liter turbocharged unit can be upgraded to 362 HP and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque from the stock 306 HP and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft).
Last, but not least, the 420d will be making 218 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque after the guys from Hartge will be done with it. Prices go from €1,266 for the diesel kit to €1,687 for the 428i and €1,970 for the 435i and, fortunately, they ship worldwide.
