Burly Brand announces the introduction of ape-hanger cable and line kits for the late Harley-Davidson Dyna and Softail models.
When installing ape hanger handlebars, their taller profile requires longer brake and clutch lines, extended wires and throttle cables, and until now solving this problem was a matter of trial and error, until finding the exact length.
Burly's new offer rids riders of all the unnecessary troubles: they are now selling cable and line kits for each specific Softail and Dyna model they cover, in no less than 4 different ape hanger heights: 12, 14, 16 and 18-inch.
Fitting them is now much easier, as everything falls neatly into place, and minimal mechanical skills are required for a neat job. Kits include throttle cables, clutch cable, brake line and wiring harness extensions, all in a neat satin black color.
The kits start at $199.95 (€152) and will fit 2011-2013 FX and FL Softails as well as 2012-2013 FXD models, except Fatbob. Find out how easy it is to install these kits in the video after the jump. Spotted by Cyril Huze.
