Harley-Davidson Shows Two New Black Label Helmets

The new lids have a ¾ design, with vintage looks, and are obviously addressed to riders who are into both stylish helmets and the wind-in-your-face outings. Both helmets come with fiberglass shells and EPS liners and just like the rest of similarly-styled lids, they’re more about fashion than all-round protection.

The liner of those two new H-D Black Label helmets is non-removable, but has received an anti-microbial treatment. With the zero reduced ventilation these helmets have, maybe riding in very warm weather is not the best idea. Back to the lids, both of them come with a full chrome trim and metal flake hard candy-style paintjob which looks very well, just like all similar Harley products do. If you’re in the more traditional 60’s-70’s styling, maybe the Black Diamond is a better choice.

However, if you’re after a completely cool, aggressive-looks helmet, the Slither is the way to go. Retro and with looks on par with Icon’s special helmets, the Slither is a truly nifty piece of headgear, even if it would probably not get you into house Slitheryn.
