Harley-Davidson Sales Slightly Up in 2013 1 photo
Harley-Davidson had a good 2013, sales figures show.
Through 31st December 2013, the MoCo sold no less than 260,839 units, a more than 4% hike from the 249,849 bikes sold worldwide by the same date in 2012.

The US remains the dominant market, with 168,863 bikes sold, an almost 7,000-unit increase over 2012. Canada too, moved slowly up. Combined, the two North American markets accounts for well north of 50% of the total sales.

In other markets, H-D also fared well, with a 4.4% increase in the US, 9.8% in the Asia Pacific region, a very nifty 13.1% increase in Latin America, and 4.6% in Canada. Retail unit sales went down 1.0% in the EMEA region.

With the new lower-cost Street 750 and Street 500 launched and reaching multiple markets soon, we can expect sales to go up a bit. As for the big cruiser market, Indian is moving troops, too...
