We humans like to use symbols in our endeavors, for a variety of purposes, from mundane tasks to worshiping whatever deity we believe in. For most of us symbols are just written signs meant to represent something, with no actual power on our lives and destinies. For others symbols are so important though they leave their mark on everything around them.
For those raised in Hinduism and Buddhism, for instance, one of the most important symbols is that of Om. Actually, it's more than just a symbol for many people on this Earth, as it's at the same time a sacred sound and a mantra, and even the sonic representation of the divine.

Quite an important element, then, even if it's one we don't often get to see in the Western world. But even here, it seems, there are people devoted to it, and one of them even had the symbol inscribed on his custom Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

You can admire it in the gallery above, most prominently displayed on the modified and extended fuel tank of what was once a Softail Deluxe. Om was placed there by the shop behind the build, Spanish crew Lord Drake, at the request of one of its customers, a strong believer in Om and its powers.

The symbol also made it into the custom bike's name, which is in full Om Tibetan. We're talking about the kind of build that tends to stick with you once you've seen it thanks to the extensive modifications made to it.

Wrapped in shades of black and grey highlighted by small but effective traces of red, the Om Tibetan lost all of the Deluxe’s chromed elements, and that helps it look particularly dark. It also looks a lot simpler than the ornate Deluxe, with none of the massive fenders or whitewall tires to stand in the way of Om's unique appearance.

The custom wheels are backed by a Legend suspensions system, with the one at the rear wearing a 240 mm wide tire – not exaggerated, but just right for the purposes of this build. Smaller but effective bits like the LED turn signals, the thick handlebar, and custom made seat complete the look of the motorcycle.

The engine sitting inside the frame of this bike is the original Deluxe one, aided for the purposes of the custom, both visually and from a mechanical standpoint, by an aftermarket Harley air filter and a Vance & Hines exhaust system.

The total cost of the Harley-Davidson Om Tibetan is not known, as usual when it comes to projects handled by Lord Drake. It’s likely that's an aspect that didn't factor in with the bike owner's decision to transform it into a spiritual statement on wheels.
