Harley-Davidson has been quite secretive about their new launches this year, but nevertheless, here’s the 2014 Dyna Low Rider, a re-interpretation of the late-70’s Low Rider. A bike which had been created more for riding than polishing it on your driveway, the old Low Rider legacy looks like it has been transferred to the new machine.
The 2014 H-D Low Rider is also a compact motorcycle, and this should make its handling better through the bends. Couple that with the air-cooled Twin Cam 103 injected v-twin lump with 1690cc displacement and capable to deliver 134 Nm (98.7 lb-ft) of torque at 3500 rpm, and it looks like fun is granted.

Riders can choose between the traditional laced wheels and mag ones, with the engine finished in wrinkle black and chrome and breathing out through a beefy 2-into-1 exhaust. The same wrinkle black paint was used for the tank-mounted console, for a neat contrast with the two-tone paint (optional) and the rest of the chromed details.

ABS is optional for the braking system, and the 2014 Dyna Low Rider looks quite good in this regard: dual 4-piston fixed calipers in the front and a 2-pot floating caliper for the rear rotor should be enough for a reassuring feeling of being in control aboard this 666-lb (301 kg, in running order) machine.

Like you’ve probably guessed, the 2014 Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider can also be upgraded with a wide palette of genuine accessories and aftermarket parts. What we loved best is the adjustable seat height, a major bonus for any bike these days, when customers tend to be pickier before they sign that check.

The base price for the 2014 Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider is $14,199 (€10,245) with ABS, two-tone color, security and CARB-compliance options adding some more to the bill.
