The upcoming Essen Motor Show will offer us a multitude of extreme creations, vehicles that have traveled such a long way from their factory stock incarnations. One of these cars will be an aftermarket version of the Fiat 500.
The project uses the Abarth version as a starting point and has been gifted with multiple tech and aesthetic goodies coming from Hamann and suspension specialist H&R. By the way, autoevolution tested the stock Abarth 500. You can read the review by following this link.
Returning to the little bomb, we must start by telling you that the vehicle’s turbocharged 1.4 liter four-cylinder unit has been heavily modified and now delivers no less than 275 hp. The tuners have not mentioned any performance figures, but this is a level of power that allows the 500 to outperform a long list of vehicles aimed at offering a high level of driving thrills.
To cope with the extra power, the car was fitted with a new set of brakes, as well as with a H&R lowering suspension. The latter brings benefits for both the vehicle’s handling and its appearance. H&R also offers a set of billet wheel spacers for the vehicle.
The 500 rides on two-tone rims coming from Hamann and has been gifted with an exterior kit comprising of new bumpers and side skirts. The vehicle has been dressed in a body vinyl that offers it an “urban camouflage” appearance.
As we told you, the vehicle will be displayed at the Essen Motor Show, which will be held in Germany between November 27 and December 5.
