Street circuits are easily the most exciting kind of race tracks, and a perfect example of that is the Monaco GP, which is by far the most eagerly anticipated F1 venue of the year, at least for fans, as drivers find it very demanding to drive.
However, Spanish bank Santander have conceptualized a 5.156 km (3.22-mile) long London-based F1 race, which would take place on the streets, and in-between the landmarks of the British capital. To better explain the track and the philosophy behind it, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button have been chosen run the viewer through the 3D model of the track and highlight points of interest.
We must admit that if this Grand Prix on the streets of London would ever become reality, we’d go and see it without flinching. Who wouldn’t want to see a pack of racing cars speeding past Buckingham Palace at 200+ km/h (130+ mph)?
The presentation.
