Hamann BMW F15 X5 Is the ACS Alternative

As it turns out, AC Schnitzer wasn’t the only company that brought a tuned, revamped BMW F15 X5 to the Geneva Motor Show 2014 floor. Hamann was also there introducing their take on the new SUV.

The Laupheim-based company has been quietly developing striking body kits and upgrades for a wide variety of manufactures since the late 1980s. However, few brands receive as much attention as BMW, the original brand Richard Hamann had in mind when he started his business venture.

Their X5 was dressed in all black and done tastefully, better than we expected, as the Germans are known to go a bit overboard with their design, as it was the case with the previous generation EVO models.

A widebody kit was added that changed the styling on the front fascia, sides and around the back, enhancing the aggressive styling with the help of some wider air intakes and LED lights. The four tailpipes have been encased in rectangular shapes, dressed in chrome, creating a dashing contrast between the black paint of the car and their shiny look.

Actually, looking over the whole car, everything went black, the only remaining chrome element being the aforementioned exhaust. The kidney grille was blacked out, the window frames and even the badges were replaced with Hamann’s own.
