Autobild is one of the biggest automotive magazines in Germany and Europe altogether. Each year, the publication holds an interesting contest, to decide which cars are the best of the best but, unlike other magazines, this one also hands out awards for the best tuning options.
Next to stock models, the guys are also comparing tuned alternatives and, this year, the award for the best Sport Limousine Tuning program went to Hamann for its take on the BMW M5, the Mission concept.

Whilst it look appalling, the car they put together has 630 HP and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal, adding up to around 3.1 kg/HP. That means it will do 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in just 4.1 seconds, reaching a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph).

The Mission beat ABT’s S8 program and GAD’s CLS 63 AMG, both coming short of  Hamann’s M5 and ending up with second and third place respectively.
