Granny Runs 11 Second Quarter-Mile in a Mercedes C63 AMG

This is truly a wonderful story of both love and passion for automobiles and racing them. Kathy Countiss, a woman in her 60s, regularly goes to drag racing events along in her tuned C63 with her husband, who is also a gearhead and drives a Viper.
Recently, they took part in the TX2K event at Lonestar Motorsports Park, Texas. She ran the quarter-mile in 11 seconds, a very respectable time in her modified C63 AMG, while her husband in his tuned Viper ran the quarter-mile in 10 seconds dead.

Such stories are truly heart-touching and we all have a thing or two to learn from couples like this who really, genuinely do stuff together, even after they’ve passed their prime.

PS: we don't know if they're open to adoption requests, but if they are. we'll go first!
