This year’s edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which is scheduled to be held between July 2 and 4, promises to offer a hefty motorsport spectacle that will include multiple stars performing stunts on two or four wheels, all for the spectators' delight.

The American star of the Gymkhana videos, and now World Rally Champion driver, Ken Block will be showcasing his 800 hp+ Ford Fiesta “Gymkhana 3” car, which will set its wheels on European roads for the first time. Block will also put his Works Ford Focus RS WRC rally car through its paces on the Goodwood Forest Rally Stage.

The motorcycle riders line-up will be lead by the Red Bull X-Figthers, one of the world’s most spectacular freestyle motocross riders. Four of the famous riders will perform around the GoodWood Cricket Pitch on a purpose-built course.

Twelve-time World Trials Champion and Goodwood favorite Dougle Lampkin will return to the Festival, extreme-riding his 290cc Beta EVO T2 trials bike on the West Susses parkland throughout the weekend.

In addition to that, top Irish stunt rider and recent BMW Motorrad UK signing Mattie Griffin will make his Goodwood debut by performing amazing stunts on the hillclimb.

The annual Goodwood Festival of Speed will be invaded by a number of the world’s greatest extreme motor sport stars performing amazing stunts behind the wheel or handlebars of their vehicles. With such great stars in action, the 2010 Festival really does promise entertainment in the ‘extreme’,” stated the press release.
