Well, if you’re going to do something stupid for fun, you might as well make sure it’s hilarious. If you’re lucky and have it go viral, all the better for you.
Tommy Wilson had the bright idea to ride the tiniest bike he could find on the streets of his hometown Banbridge in Northern Ireland, while dressed in a giant inflatable dinosaur suit. The result was, as you can imagine, nothing short of hilarious.

You can see it in the video at the bottom of the page. Tommy posted it to his Facebook page, from where it got immediately picked up by the local and national media, with increased traffic helping it go viral.

Speaking with Deadline News, Tommy says the whole stunt was just for laughs. He doesn’t admit to it being dangerous, but you know it was. Also, possibly illegal.

In the video, you can see Tommy lose his balance a couple of times, which could have proved dangerous given the traffic. On the bright side, he managed to complete the stunt without harming himself, so we can laugh at the way the dino’s butt wiggles as it pedals and not feel bad about it.

“I bought the suit from eBay for £40 and the bike for £60 from a local buy and sell page,” Tommy says. “My last customer of the day took me down and his friend used my phone to film it.”

You can hear them giggling in the video, and you can also hear passers-by laughing out loud. Truth be told, were to come across such a sight on the street, you would laugh too. Only afterwards would you spare a thought about the guy’s safety – if at all.

That said, while this is funny, don’t try it at home. If you feel like you must, do it somewhere where there’s no traffic so you’re in no immediate danger.
