We had tons of fun when we test drove the Volkswagen Multivan, but nothing compares to the spirit of the original Bus. This is why we’ve decided to bring you a virtual shotgun ride in a 1959 VW Microbus.
The example you see in the clip below rolled out the factory gate as a standard people-moving version, which means it had three rows of seats. However, the owner, who won the vehicle, decided to turn it into a Camper.
This means that the interior now hold a multitude of uber-cool features, such as seats that fold into a bed and retro curtains. The atmosphere in the cabin looks extremely cozy.
For the record, this Bus is dressed in a two-tone scheme that mixes Mango and Seagull White. We’ll let you discover the rest of the hippie story in the clip below.
